  • Ouch!

I read this today, and it really challenged me.

"Lukewarm people don't really want to be saved from their sins, they want to be saved from the penalty of their sins."

    Do you think that's true?

The move has started. It's a lot different from any other move I have done. I'm house sitting for some friends who have two puppies. So I feel like I'm living between my old house, my new one, and theirs. A bit chaotic. Hopefully I will be completely moved in by May 2nd. It hits me more and more every time I go over there. I can't wait until I starts feel like home. Pictures will come soon!

Lukewarm people, want the freedom from sin, but don't want to have to change who they are & what they are doing wrong. |They just want to be able to be the status quo. So I guess, yes, I do agree with that statement. I actually always equated lukewarm christians as those who don't care if anyone else gets saved, they don't want to make others uncomfortable with their personal standards of living and they don't by any means want to be seen as breaking rules, but they don't want to try to be changed.

hmmm... I really really like your quote.... I would try to comment or add something to it... but that is a really awesome quote and does not need anything else.

    Looking forward to the pictures!

I think I pretty much agree with sweet11321's comment :)

I think of lukewarm christians as people who want to be saved but don't want to stop anything they are doing (sin).
